I am a 19-year resident of Gahanna and proud parent of a Gahanna-Jefferson School District student. I moved from California to Ohio to raise my daughter closer to family, and chose Gahanna because of its excellent schools. My daughter Lila attended Jefferson Elementary, Middle School East and Lincoln High School.
A graduate of the New College of California with a Bachelor’s degree in Humanities, I have owned and run a small business, worked in retail for many years at a major department store, and am now enjoying a second career as a healthcare worker in the optometry field. I have over 10 years of experience in public service with the Franklin County Board of Elections and as a volunteer leader and board member of a non-profit.
My inspiration in running for and serving on the GJPS School Boars is my daughter and her positive, life-changing experiences in the Gahanna-Jefferson school district. I’m deeply grateful for the opportunities and support Lila has enjoyed throughout her Gahanna-Jefferson school career. I’m asking for your support and your vote to continue serving on the school board to continue helping to ensure that our schools continue to provide amazing educational opportunities for all students.
